CONFIDENTIALITY
The information contained and any attachments in e-mails are for the exclusive use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed and others authorized to receive it, and may be of a confidential, legal or even privileged nature. Whether or not you are the intended recipient of the message, you are hereby notified that any disclosure, copying, distribution or any action in relation to the content of such information is strictly prohibited and may be unlawful, as it may be proprietary information of Compass Group.
If you are not the intended recipient of the message and have received a communication in error, please notify the sender’s e-mail address immediately and delete it from your inbox and «deleted items».
SECURITY RECOMMENDATIONS
The care and protection of our clients’ information is fundamental for Compass Group; therefore, we maintain physical and/or electronic care and we have procedures in place to protect the information from loss, damage, modification or unauthorized access.
In this regard, we present the following security recommendations:
- Do not open e-mails of dubious origin (Phishing), do not click on them, do not respond to them, contact them by phone and if you confirm that it is false, simply delete it.
- Do not trust links and attachments in e-mails. Compass Group does not send e-mails to its clients with links to pages where you are asked to enter banking information (password, account numbers or cards).
- As a safeguard, always log in to your account after entering the Compass Group site address (https://cgcompass.com/) in your browser bar.
Verify that Compass Group’s email domains («@email.cgcompass.com» or «@cgcompass.com») are whitelisted by your e-mail provider, to avoid being categorized as SPAM.
RESPONSIBILITY
Compass Group is not responsible for the correct and complete transmission of the information contained in the e-mail, nor for any delay. Despite having anti-virus modules in the e-mail service, it is not guaranteed that the information contained or attached to the e-mails is free of errors, new viruses, or variants of these that are not registered.
Compass Group is excluded, to the fullest extent permitted by law, from any liability for damages of any nature or origin including, but not limited to, damages resulting from loss of use of data or profits, resulting from delay or inability to use the service, as well as any loss, damage or expense resulting directly or indirectly from access to files attached to e-mail.
PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Compass Group is committed to comply with the applicable regulation on Personal Data Protection. We inform you that we have your contact data obtained from the commercial or contractual relationship with your represented party, or through public source. Your data is stored in our database, under the administration of Compass Group. This data is used for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations or sending you information that may be of interest to you about the services and products offered and provided by Compass Group. Your data will be stored for as long as necessary, guaranteeing the confidentiality and secure treatment of your personal data. The owner of the data may revoke their consent or exercise their rights to access, rectify or update, cancel, or oppose the processing of their personal data. Personal data may be shared between Compass Group and its employees. In addition, Compass Group may provide personal data to unrelated parties who provide services or products in connection with the services and products offered and provided, or to competent authorities in accordance with applicable regulation.
PRIVACY POLICY
Compass Group has a policy of non-disclosure of private information to third parties provided by its clients and/or users, unless expressly authorized in writing by the interested party. The client and/or user acknowledges that the private information provided may be disclosed to the funds’ administrator, partners, managers, attorneys, accountants and auditors in support of the funds’ business and to other service providers such as brokers who may need the information related with the delivery of services to the funds, to third party service providers or financial institutions that may be delivering services, provided that such persons agree to protect the confidentiality of the information and to use it only for the purposes of delivering services to the funds and as otherwise required or permitted by law. The administrator of the funds does not restrict access to information to its employees who need to know the information to provide services to the funds, and maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with the rules regarding the protection of information.
